Job summary

Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift coverage from 11 PM to 7 AM. The role includes administering medications, delivering direct resident care, and documenting activities on the unit.

Responsibilities include reporting observations to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manager, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring timely documentation of patient care. Full-time or part-time options may apply; vaccination guidance from CDC is referenced.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Licensed & registered in good standing in New York State as an RN.
• Experience with geriatric patients is desirable, but not required.
• Willingness to support rehabilitation and growth.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments to residents and documents on the unit.
• Reports findings to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and/or Unit Manager.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic test/lab values and infection prevention principles/methods.
• Identifies and responds promptly to patient concerns/needs.
• Ensures documentation of ADLs, meals, and care activities (CNAs).
• Is punctual and provides proper notification for lateness or absenteeism.
