Job summary

Sterling Senior Care is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff on a designated unit, ensuring timely administration of medications, appropriate treatments, and accurate documentation. The role reports to the DON/ADON and supports quality resident care in a Maryland facility.

The position requires RN or LPN licensure, CPR certification, and prior long-term care supervision experience. Full-time, exempt shift (M-F 11:00–7:30) with facility operations 24/7.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active RN or LPN license.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care that respects resident rights and independence.
• Supervise GNAs, CMAs, nurses, and other staff on assigned shift.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure safe, clean, therapeutic care environment.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Maintain complete clinical documentation per facility policies.
• Assist with individualized care plans and notify physicians of changes in resident condition.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Assist with admissions, readmissions, and room transfers.
• Communicate shift reports and coordinate with team.
