Job summary

Calvert County Nursing Center in Maryland is seeking a full-time RN Supervisor for the 11:00pm - 7:00am shift (Mon-Fri). The RN Supervisor will ensure patient care aligns with policies, supervise staff, and coordinate with the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include oversight of resident care, enforcing policies, completing incident reports, conducting rounds, communicating changes to physicians and families, addressing grievances, and providing staff orientation and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Oversees resident care on assigned unit.
• Ensures nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Completes and reviews accident/incident reports and follows up with DON/ADON.
• Conducts rounds to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met.
• Communicates changes in resident condition to physicians, family or responsible party.
• Maintains written records of resident grievances and actions taken.
• Acts as a resource for nursing staff.
• Coordinates orientation and continuing education for unit team members.
