UF Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for part-time night shifts. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, with supervision as a charge nurse when assigned, and will adapt care to the age and developmental level of patients.

This role requires an Associate’s degree, Florida RN license, BLS on start, ACLS/PALS within specified timelines, and ongoing certification; BSN preferred and encouraged within three years of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN must be obtained within three years of hire for applicable new hires
• Florida RN license or eligibility upon SSN
• BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required on first day of employment
• ACLS – Required at Hire or Transfer for specified units
• ACLS – Required Within 6 Months for listed units
• PALS – Required Within 6 Months for listed units
• Experience: Less than one year required; 1 year preferred

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process and standards of practice
• Maintains accountability for assigned patients; may function as charge nurse when assigned
• Coordinates with healthcare team to ensure appropriate care
• Assesses patient age and developmental level to tailor care
