Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical Surgical unit in the Weaver Tower for a full-time night shift. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, supervise support staff, and coordinate with ancillary services.

The ideal candidate will have an ASN, BSN preferred, and current RN license in Florida, with BLS. Experience in medical-surgical nursing and hospital settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Providing patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordination of care with ancillary services and families in developing a plan of care.
• Education of patients and families about their disease and plan of care.
• Licensed Registered Nurse required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
