Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to lead a dedicated nursing team across shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality resident care and smooth unit operations. You will set standards of excellence and mentor staff to continuously improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing personnel, assessing staffing needs, directing care for adults, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. An active Maryland RN license and CPR certification are required; BSN strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Maryland RN license.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of managerial experience in a care setting.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing personnel on the assigned shift.
• Assess staffing needs and direct resident care.
• Work with adults in a geriatric population.
• Serve as role model for safe, effective nursing care and supervise clinical aspects.
• Manage day-to-day Nursing Department operations.
• Coordinate with other units to ensure efficient workflow.
• Pursue growth opportunities to maintain clinical competency.
