Job summary

FutureCare is seeking an RN Shift Supervisor to lead a dedicated nursing team and uphold high standards of care across a shift. The role emphasizes supervision of nursing personnel, directing care for residents, and ensuring efficient unit operations within an adult geriatric population.

The ideal candidate holds an active Maryland RN license, a BSN is preferred, and 1–3 years of managerial experience is a plus, with CPR certification required. Excellent benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license issued in the state of Maryland.
• BSN preferred.
• 1-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills a plus.
• Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility.
• Must possess a current CPR license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing-related functions on a shift.
• Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care.
• Work with an adult geriatric population.
• Serve as role model for safe, effective and efficient nursing care; supervise clinical aspects.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department.
• Interface with others to ensure efficient unit operations.
• Seek opportunities for growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency.
