Job summary

Loudoun Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leesburg, VA is seeking an RN Supervisor for the night shift. You will oversee facility operations, staff management, and ensure high-quality resident care and services while coordinating with families and physicians.

The role requires 3-5 years in long-term care and 1-3 years supervisory experience, with solid knowledge of clinical practices and applicable laws and regulations governing long-term care.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in Long Term Care required.
• 1-3 years previous supervisory experience in long term care preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care.

Responsibilities

• Assists the administrator in developing short- and long-term goals and objectives with other direct care departments.
• Establishes and implements action plans to attain department goals and objectives.
• Collaborates with medical staff and departments for residents’ total needs and effective team functioning.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal standards for long-term care and pre-empts survey inspections by VA Dept of Health.
• Ensures individual care plans are updated according to regulatory requirements.
• Develops work assignments and schedules to maintain adequate staffing and high-quality care.
• Maintains high standards of nursing care in line with ANA, DOH, OSHA and CMS guidelines.
