Job summary

Eastern Healthcare Group is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee clinical and administrative nursing functions across assigned shifts in a long-term care setting. You will lead a care team to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and efficient service delivery.

The role requires a Virginia-licensed RN or LPN, 2–3 years in geriatric care, and supervisory experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating care plans and supporting staff.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in Virginia.
• Associate’s or BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric setting.
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations, infection control, and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the delivery of nursing care to ensure quality, safety, and resident dignity.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and address concerns promptly.
• Coordinate and supervise implementation of resident care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care and documentation.
• Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) during shifts.
• Provide guidance, direction, and clinical support as needed.
• Participate in staff evaluations, corrective actions, and ongoing development.
• Ensure proper shift hand-offs, documentation, and communication between teams.
