Job summary

Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center seeks a full-time RN Supervisor to join our 3rd shift team (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM). This role includes every-other-weekend shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing leadership and clinical oversight in a geriatric long-term care setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, hospitals, families and staff, ensure care plans are followed, and support a team committed to compassionate resident care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate working with geriatric patients.
• Preferred Nursing experience in a long term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident
• Take on the role of liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members and other medical personnel to ensure resident plan of care is followed.
• RN must make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status and to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
• Supervise other nursing service personnel and ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are being administered as ordered by the physician.
• RN must be able to demonstrate the ability to think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident.
