Job summary

Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time RN Supervisor to join our team on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) in Scranton, PA. The role requires leadership of the nursing staff and ensuring resident care plans are followed with timely physician coordination.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
• Take on the role of liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members and other medical personnel to ensure resident plan of care is followed.
• RN must make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status and to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern long-term care facilities.
• Supervise other nursing service personnel and ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are being administered as ordered by the physician.
• RN must be able to demonstrate the ability to think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident.
