Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a House Supervisor (Non-Exempt) to lead off-hours operations, mentor staff, and help ensure high-quality patient care across the facility. The role reports to the Senior Nursing Officer or Admin on Call and serves as a key resource during night shifts.

Required are an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), an active RN license in WV, BCLS, and the ability to quickly learn multiple software systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Must have critical thinking and decisive judgment.
• Ability to navigate multiple complex software systems.
• Must communicate in English (read, write, speak).
• Completion of Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
• Determines staffing level and assignments based on census, acuity and flow.
• Provides direct patient care as needed.
• Floats between staff to assist with problem-solving.
• May take patient assignments to meet staffing needs.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and addresses issues affecting outcomes.
• Coordinates transfers and ensures staff have needed equipment and supplies.
