Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for night shifts (8P-8:30A) in-person. The role leads hospital-wide operations during evenings and nights, responding to emergencies, coordinating staffing, and ensuring patient flow.

The Administrative Supervisor collaborates with departments, handles escalations, and represents the hospital to the community. Requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license.
• BLS certification required or obtained within first week.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Handle With Care certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates staffing and assigns nursing staff based on schedules and patient acuity.
• Monitors and reports patient safety issues.
• Provides clinical expertise during medical and behavioral health emergencies.
• Acts as Incident Commander during emergencies.
• Coordinates disposition of deceased persons and organ procurement situations.
• Provides direct patient care when needed.
