Job summary

Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Chipley, Florida, is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead the night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You will oversee nursing staff, ensure quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance across the shift.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and 4+ years in nursing homes or healthcare, plus at least 1 year supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required and CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 4+ years of nursing experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on the night shift, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee medication administration, IV infusions, catheter care and wound care.
• Coordinate patient intake and discharge planning with case management.
• Facilitate communication among physicians, therapists, social workers and staff.
• Monitor staff clinical competencies and performance.
• Manage scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for each shift.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
