Qualifications

• BSN required; those enrolled may be considered if graduation expected within 18 months.
• Three or more years nursing practice experience required.
• One or more years in med/surg nursing preferred.
• One or more years in a behavioral health setting preferred.
• One or more years in a supervisory or charge position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and staffing to ensure adequate patient care.
• Maintain charts, MARs, logs and assessments; enforce policy compliance.
• Perform shift rounds and random audits; delegate tasks as needed.
• Coaching and orienting staff; ensure regulatory and professional standards are met.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other services; document information accurately.
• Administer medications and update care plans as patient conditions change.
• Lead admissions and discharges; manage on-call situations and staffing levels.
