Job summary

Southridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Nursing Supervisor RN to lead nursing care on the night shift, coordinating admissions, discharges, and emergency responses. The role acts as the on-site administrator during off hours, ensuring quality of care across four units.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree and Michigan RN licensure, with a preference for at least three years in psychiatric care and House Supervisor experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Previous House Supervisor experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Supervisor provides direct care, leadership, direction, and supervision for all nursing care on their shift.
• Acts as on-site administrator during off hours, providing direction and supervision across hospital operations.
• Coordinates admissions, discharges, responses to emergency codes, and overall quality of care for patients.
