Job summary

Join Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA as an RN in Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This part-time night position offers 2 x 12 hour shifts weekly, with weekend availability and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

As part of our PCU team, you’ll work with dedicated nurses and patient care techs in a 24-bed unit, using state-of-the-art technology to deliver safe, evidence-based care and support professional growth within Piedmont Healthcare.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program.
• MINIMUM LICENSE/Certification: Current License in GA as RN; BLS required.
• NEW GRADUATES eligible for PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and collects health history.
• Evaluates developmental age for patient care and education.
• Organizes data into care plan and identifies expected outcomes.
• Carries out care plan to achieve patient outcomes.
• Delivers patient care appropriate to disease severity and needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides resources for patient education.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager/physician.
• Documents care and concerns in patient record.
