Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay/Observation Unit at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville. This full-time position is 36 hours per week with night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am and rotating weekends/holidays.

Must hold IL RN licensure and CPR certification, with at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience. Ideal candidates have a BSN or an ADN with a plan to obtain a BSN within five years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing.
• 1+ year RN experience in an inpatient unit.
• If ADN then must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Current IL RN licensure and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and record observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and work as part of a coordinated team.
