Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay/Observation Unit. The role is full-time, 36 hours weekly, with day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm and rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide professional nursing care and work as part of a clinical team to monitor patient progress and ensure quality care. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing and have at least 1 year of RN inpatient experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Assesses patients, plans, monitors progress and records observations.
Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and works as a team member to meet unit goals.
