Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay/Observation Unit. This full-time role is 36 hours per week with day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm and rotating weekends/holidays.

Requires BSN or higher and 1+ year inpatient RN experience, with Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification. Responsibilities include delivering professional nursing care, assessing patient needs, documenting progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing.
Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
Assesses patients, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and records observations.
Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and works as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
