Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay/Observation Unit at Edward Main Hospital in Naperville. This full-time night position offers 36 hours per week, 7:00pm–7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays, and pays hourly based on experience.
You will deliver professional nursing care, assess and monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team. Illinois RN licensure and CPR are required; a Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, with an Associate degree acceptable
Qualifications
- 1+ year RN experience in an inpatient unit
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher; if holding an ADN, must pursue BSN within five years
- Current IL RN licensure
- Current CPR (AHA or BLS)
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with state act and hospital policies
- Assess patient condition, plan, implement, evaluate care and document observations
- Delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with the health-care team
- Adapt care to unit needs and ensure safety and quality standards
