Job summary

The long term care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.

May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff, ensuring safe and reliable care. This is a full-time RN position in Brainerd, MN, with evening/night shifts (4:00pm–4:30am), bi-weekly 72 hours, and shift incentives plus a sign-on bonus if

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in Minnesota or multistate licensure under NLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
• Ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care and compliance with state practice rules.
