Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• PMCS and BLS certifications required or maintained.

Responsibilities

• Able to identify immediate and long-range plans for patient care and include patient and family in the plan.
• Sets priorities for the patient\'s needs, making decisions which reflect sound judgement.
• Monitor the patient\'s clinical status and assess for significant change.
• Communicate clearly with patient, family members, physicians, and team members to ensure patient needs are met.
• Safely administer medication on time and in accordance with the Hospital\'s policies.
• Perform venipuncture and starts intravenous lines safely.
