Responsibilities

• Identify immediate and long-range plans for patient care including patient and family.
• Set priorities for patient needs reflecting sound judgment.
• Monitor patient status and detect significant changes.
• Communicate clearly with patient, family, physicians and team.
• Safely administer medications on time per hospital policy.
• Perform venipuncture and start IVs safely.
