Responsibilities

• Identify immediate and long-range plans for patient care with patient/family involvement.
• Set priorities for patient needs and exercise sound judgement.
• Monitor patient clinical status for significant changes.
• Communicate clearly with patient, family, physicians, and team members to ensure needs are met.
• Safely administer medications on time according to hospital policies.
• Perform venipuncture and start IV lines safely.
