Bayhealth Sussex Campus is seeking a Patient Care Registered Nurse (RN) for the 5B Progressive Care Unit in Milford, DE. This is a full-time night-shift position (12-hour shifts) on the Sussex campus, with responsibilities spanning direct patient care, care planning, and collaborative practice.

The unit holds AACN Silver Beacon status and emphasizes teamwork. Required education includes an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma with RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required as

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Credentials: Registered Nurse (RN) and Basic Life Support (BLS). ACLS/PALS may be required per manager's direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care to acute care patients.
• Develop patient-centered plans of care based on individual needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Administer medications following rights of med administration.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes when applicable.
