Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is actively seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver, and manage direct patient care using the nursing process within a 12-hour night shift environment in Leominster, MA. Candidates must hold MA RN licensure and be current with BLS; BSN is preferred.

The role includes patient education, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team. Holidays are every other holiday; weekends alternate.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for every RN.
• BSN degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, deliver and manage patient care.
• Perform patient assessments and coordinate discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate nursing care in the assigned unit.
• Document care and educate patients and families as directed.
• Maintain quality and continuity of care through collaboration with the health team.
