Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an RN for the 7pm–7:30am night shift. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to standards, and collaborative teamwork in a high-demand hospital environment.

Responsibilities include nursing process delivery from admission to discharge, patient assessment, discharge planning, and directing nursing care within the unit. Massachusetts licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred. Signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN; ACLS certification or current status may be required.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plans of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned unit.
