Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Progressive Care (Step down) at St. Rita's Medical Center on a full-time night shift.

You will collaborate with the care team, assess patient status, implement care plans, and ensure a safe therapeutic environment across Med-Surg and ICU interfaces. The role requires 1 year of RN experience, RN license, and BLS/ACLS if applicable, with ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• RN licensure current in the state
• 1 year of RN experience required
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• ACLS/BLS preferred; ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Assess patients, develop and evaluate care plans
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement
• Administer medications safely per policies
• Other duties as assigned
