Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care unit at Anderson Hospital to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and ensure a safe healing environment.

The role requires active RN licensure in Ohio and a minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with preference for those with acute care exposure.

Qualifications

• RN license active in State of Ohio.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months in acute care hospital preferred.
• BLS/ACLS preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to plan and deliver patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop and evaluate care plans.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
• Administer medications safely in line with practice standards and policies.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement to enhance patient safety.
