The Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Postpartum 5 North unit at CHA Cambridge Hospital. This full-time position involves night shifts (1900-0700), 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements. A BSN is preferred and active MA RN licensure is required, along with BLS and NRP qualifications.

Mothers/baby/nursery experience is strongly preferred. Bonuses may be available up to $20,000 for experienced Mother/Baby RNs.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current MA RN Licensure.
• Current AHA BLS required; NRP required prior to unit orientation.

Responsabilités

• Provide ongoing assessment and care of mothers through postpartum period.
• Provide ongoing assessment and care of newborns per guidelines.
• Educate mother-infant dyad from birth to discharge.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up for mother and newborn.
• Participate in unit-based quality initiatives.
