Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother-Baby unit. The role is full-time and night shift (7p-7a) with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.

The Mother-Baby Unit is a 30-bed postpartum service where nurses assess healing, educate new moms on self-care, and support rooming-in with newborns. RN degree is required and experienced RNs are strongly preferred for this women’s health role.

Qualifications

• RN Degree REQUIRED.
• Experienced RN's STRONGLY PREFERRED.
• Passion for Women's Health.

Responsabilités

• Assess postpartum patients and ensure proper healing.
• Provide self-care education to new moms.
• Support infant care and rooming-in when appropriate.
• Educate mom on infant care and safety.
