Job summary

Harris Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother/Baby unit on nights. This full-time position includes a $10,000 sign-on for new grads and a $20,000 sign-on for night shift with a 2-year commitment. Schedule is 3x12s, 7p-7a, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Join our 18-bed Women9s Services Unit featuring Level 2B nursery, L&D, and cross-training opportunities. Self-scheduling supports a collaborative, patient-centered birthing experience and newborn care excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
