Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a night shift, part-time Post Partum Registered Nurse. The role focuses on delivering high-quality post-partum patient care, collaborating with the care team, and supporting families.

Responsibilities include nursing process, patient advocacy, and supervision of assigned staff. Requirements: NJ RN license, BLS, and NLN/ACCN-accredited program graduation. Preferred BSN and acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing/American Association of Colleges for Nursing accredited program.
• Current valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and restoring patients’ health by completing the nursing process.
• Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
• Providing physical and psychological support to patients, families and friends and supervising assigned team members.
