Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, part-time Post Partum Couple Care Registered Nurse in Montclair, NJ. The role focuses on delivering high-quality postpartum nursing care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patients and families through the nursing process.

The ideal candidate holds a valid NJ RN license, is BLS certified within 14 days of hire, and has a background in acute or postpartum care; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN/ACEN accredited program or equivalent.
• Current New Jersey State Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process and coordinating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families and friends; supervise assigned team members.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for…Promoting and restoring patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families and supervising assigned team members.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing/American Association of Colleges for Nursing accredited program
• Current valid New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Recent acute care nursing experience.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
