Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse for our Post-Surgical Unit during the night shift. The PSU nurse provides direct care, plans and evaluates nursing care, and responds to emergencies in a fast-paced surgical setting.

We require a BSN preferred, Texas RN license with current BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 2 years of hospital RN experience in Med/Surg or ICU. EHR experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and RN licensed in Texas.
• Current Texas RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med/Surg or ICU.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care for post-surgical patients per standards.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per physician orders.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and perform MSE as needed.
• Identify education needs and document patient/family education.
• Manage acute and chronic pain to aid healing and comfort.
• Deliver medications with safety and monitor patient response.
• Follow documentation policies and use EHR system.
