Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics, part of Infinite Health Collaborative, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Excel Program. This casual night shift role covers 7:00 PM–7:00 AM at our Chaska, Edina, and Plymouth locations with emphasis on postoperative care and education.

Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, planning individualized care, administering medications, and ensuring thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing.
• Current licensure as a RN in the State of MN or WI multi-state required.
• Two years of post-operative care or critical care nursing experience in the last 3-5 years preferred.
• Current CPR certification required or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural, educational and developmental dimensions of the patient from admission through discharge; document findings.
• Develop individualized care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.
• Provide care and supplies per plan, including postoperative tasks and patient education.
• Monitor, reassess and revise the plan as patient conditions change; communicate updates to care team.
• Accurately document care, orders and patient information.
• Assist with procedures and patient education during stay and at discharge.
• Participate in department quality improvement activities and education for staff and students.
