Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/PACU to deliver high-quality perioperative care in our Plymouth Surgery Center. This part-time (.8 FTE) role runs 0500-1900, Monday–Friday, with start times that vary by surgical volume and staff rotation.

The RN will perform pre-op phone calls, H&P reviews, and provide education and care coordination from admission through discharge, ensuring patient safety and a positive experience. Association with Revo Health/i-Health group.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing.
• Current licensure as an RN in MN or WI (multi-state).
• One year of PACU or critical care nursing experience in last 5 years preferred.
• Current CPR/ACLS/PALS certification required or completed upon hire.
• Current member American Society of Post Anesthesia Nurses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs from pre-op through discharge and document findings.
• Evaluate and document patient condition and responses to interventions.
• Complete pre-operative phone calls, H&P reviews, and admission instructions.
• Provide high-quality preop and postop nursing care and patient education.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure a safe patient experience.
