Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 West Medical Surgical unit. This full-time night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM requires compassionate, patient-centered care and teamwork.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with shifts and departments, and uphold the hospital's standards of excellence, safety, and respect. Texas RN licensure and BLS are required; BSN preferred within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License.
• Must maintain a current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years.
• Med-surg certification preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care.
• Relates effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care.

Education
