Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit (4E) to provide comprehensive postoperative and inpatient care for elective and non-elective orthopedic surgeries. The role features a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a daytime schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week and every third weekend rotation.

The ideal nurse will have a Nursing Diploma or ADN (BSN preferred), Illinois RN licensure, and current BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy required.

Responsibilities

• Delegation, supervision and provision of nursing care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process.
• Provides age-appropriate care.
• Participates in research and applies evidence to practice.
• Contributes to quality improvement processes.
