RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Unit-I at Jersey City Medical Center. This part-time night position involves team-based care in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing patient safety, education, and efficient coordination with the surgical team.

Ideal candidates hold an active New Jersey RN license, BLS/ACLS within 6 months, and preferably a BSN with perioperative experience.

Qualifikationen

• Active New Jersey RN license or Multistate RN license with NJ endorsement, plus BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred; prior patient care experience helpful.
• Experience with Ortho/Neuro/Spine/Bariatric patients is valued.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers to support timely care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to ensure understanding and preparation for next care steps.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to coordinate transitions of care.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and pursue ongoing professional growth.
