Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Professional Registered Nurse for Jersey City Medical Center on the Medical-Surgical Unit-I. The role supports patient-centered care on a night shift (7:00pm–7:00am), part-time status, with every other weekend requirements and a salary range shown as hourly pay for New Jersey.
Requirements include graduate of an accredited nursing program, a NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and annual cerebrovascular CE.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement.
- BLS certification through American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months from date of hire.
- Complete 8 hours of continuing education in cerebrovascular disease annually.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care in collaboration with medical staff and in accordance with NJ State Nurse Practice Act.
- Implement hospital policies and performance improvement activities within unit.
- Organize and administer age-appropriate nursing care to patients within the unit.
