Job summary

MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ortho/Neuro department. This Full-time night shift (12 Hours) role offers a pay range of $47/hr to $73/hr, plus potential bonuses and shift differentials.

The RN will provide safe, cost-effective patient care using the nursing process, develop and implement care plans, assess patients, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.
• Current California RN license to practice.
• BLS certified for all areas.
• Unit orientation and clinical competency validation.
• Certification within 6 months of hire (or transfer).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost‑effective patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients and develop a written plan of care.
• Implement and revise patient care as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and other departments to ensure quality care.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships.
• Support performance appraisal and staff development.
