Job summary

MemorialCare in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor to lead the Ortho/Neuro department on the night shift. You will direct patient care, coordinate staffing, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in an area of similar clinical expertise.
• Supervisor and/or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Current California RN license; Bachelor’s degree in nursing; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates all operations of the department on shift.
• Fosters an environment of patient- and family-centered care.
• Models interdisciplinary approach and collaborates with physician partners.
• Monitors staff performance to ensure safe, quality care outcomes.
• Promotes the advancement of nursing and conducts rounds to assess care quality.
• Assesses staffing needs and plans for next shift.
• Ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements and participates in quality initiatives.
