Job summary

MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Long Beach, CA. This is a full-time night shift (12-hour shifts 7:00 PM–7:30 AM).

The role provides safe, cost-effective patient care using the nursing process and adheres to established standards. The pay range is $50.74–$77.79 per hour, with a $20,000 signing bonus available to external hires.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification.
• Current American Heart Association NRP certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required unless waived by NEC review.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) or NEC-approved.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-effective patient care in the NICU using the nursing process.
• Adhere to established standards and scope of practice for RNs.
• Collaborate with the NICU team and families to optimize outcomes.
