Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Billings, MT area. The RN will assess and coordinate patient care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and participate in treatment planning and documentation in a fast-paced orthopaedic unit.

The role requires a state RN license, BSN within four years for ASN/ADN holders (unless 15+ years RN experience), and BLS-HCP; ACLS/NRP/PALS as needed. Night shift, full-time with differential shifts available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete BSN within four years from hire unless the RN has a minimum of fifteen years of proven continuous RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
