Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four years of hire unless the RN has 15+ years of acute care experience.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and BLS certification on hire or within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs/CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
