Job summary

St. Vincent Regional Hospital, part of Intermountain Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift on the Ortho Unit within Med/Surg to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

The unit houses diverse medical and surgical patients, with emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care. An ASN/ADN is acceptable with a BSN to be completed within four years, and current RN licensure in the state is required along with BLS-HCP; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit may be

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• A Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree must obtain a BSN within four years from hire unless exempt by prior RN experience.
• BSN within four years is required unless exempt by long RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
