Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RNs with ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless they have 15+ years of RN experience.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
• Current BLS-HCP certification on hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.

Responsibilities

• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
