RWJBarnabas Health's New Brunswick campus is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Oncology Float Pool. The role supports multiple units including trauma, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, and oncology, with a night shift schedule and a 36-hour work week.

Ideal candidates hold an ASN or Nursing Diploma and a New Jersey RN license with BLS and ACLS, plus 2–3 years of Medical-Surgical/Oncology experience. BSN preferred within five years.

Qualifications

• Must have ASN or Nursing Diploma and NJ RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within scope of practice and regulatory standards.
• Ensure patient safety and apply evidence-based practice.
• Supervise and direct delegation to team members and collaborate with care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes.
• Utilize nursing process to tailor care plans to patient needs.
